The practice was founded in 1988 and has developed into one of the largest multi-disciplinary practices in Ireland. Mitchell + Associates employs highly skilled architects, landscape architects, allied with effective business administrators. This has allowed the practice to develop coherent design strategies for integrated projects in both urban and rural settings.

In addition to the talents the experienced team has brought to the firm, this unique skill base has evolved over time through the involvement of the practice in a series of groundbreaking developments. The size and complexity of these developments along with a nationally expanded awareness of the environmental issues require that all significant interventions into sensitive landscapes have to be carefully analysed and sympathetically inserted into the receiving environment.
